Fascinated by the beauty of nature during a trip to Mongolia more than 30 years ago, Kenny Chan, the founder of Greenfingers, went on a journey to rediscover his childhood passion for flowers and plants. He believes that natural beings are the most peaceful creations. Their riches in varieties, forms, colors and textures reflect the nature of our glorious Creator. Soon after this trip, Mr. Chan gave up his promising career as a teacher, dived fully into the floral industry and started his first flower shop in 1985. To further his knowledge and skills in floristry, Mr. Chan pursued training from the world renowned floral designer Gregor Lersch. This has rooted Mr. Chan’s heart in sharing his passion for floristry with a wider audience. Year 2008 marked a pivotal time in Mr. Chan’s career; he started Greenfingers Square, a workshop that makes its goal come true in floral design and floristry skills. Mr. Chan enjoys very much sharing his floral art and knowledge with his fellow mates.
